“Increasing the Resilience of Poor and Vulnerable Communities to Climate Change Impacts in Jordan through Implementing Innovative Projects in Water and Agriculture in Support of Adaptation to Climate Change”
1.TENDER INVITATION ADDRESSED TO:
Financial Auditing/Accounting Firms registered in Jordan with both The Companies Control Department/Ministry of Industry & Trade as well as Jordan Association of Certified Public Accountants, who possess good experience and prior record of accomplishment in financial auditing of projects/programs who conducted similar assignments before.
2.DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT AND SERVICES NEEDED
The Auditing Firm is expected to advance a competent and well-experienced financial auditing team for this mission to undertake auditing of the project (program) according to the Terms of Reference (ToR) in the tender document. The audit sought here is assurance engagement and its main purpose is to provide assurance on the legality and regularity of the actions of the Climate Change Adaptation Fund’s Program of Jordan. Assurance is primarily related to compliance with the national applicable regulations and rules. All eligible registered local consulting firms in this field who are qualified and are technically competent to provide requested services in the ToR are invited to submit their proposals. The winning service provider will enter into a fixed price agreement for the period of the contract set in the ToR. Failure to meet the conditions of the Agreement will result in cancellation of the Agreement at the risk and cost of the service provider.
3.HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
Any interested audit firm which meets the conditions above must purchase the tender documents package and register its name in the tender purchasers’ record at MoPIC. The price of tender documents is Ten Jordanian Dinars (10 JOD) non-refundable, which must be paid to submi t a proposal. The amount should be paid at the Accounting Division at the address below starting Monday September 2, 2019 (the first day tender documents become available to purchase) to Monday September 9, 2019 (last day tender documents available to purchase) at the following address:

Sealed offers should be dropped at the above address no later than 1:00 PM (Amman’s local time) on Wednesday September 25th, 2019. Technical offers will be opened on the same day unless the tenderers were informed otherwise. Financial offers will not be open until completing the technical qualification process of bidders. The employer has the right to cancel or re-tender the tender without giving the reasons and without any financial or legal claim in favor of the bidders or any other party.The awarded tenderer will bear the fees of this tender advertisement.
