The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan met with Baroness Jenny Chapman, UK Minister of State for International Development, in the presence of Philip Hall the British Ambassador to Jordan. Toukan expressed appreciation for the strong partnership between Jordan and the United Kingdom and UK’s continued support for Jordan’s developmental priorities as well as refugees support.

Both sides discussed priorities for advancing development cooperation in line with Jordan’s modernization tracks as well as sustaining refugees support.

During the meeting, the importance of continued support for refugees and hosting communities, and enhancing cooperation in economic and developmental areas, including future developmental priorities within the framework of the three modernization visions was discussed.
